- Repaving asphalt project — postponed due to roofing and ceiling project
United Way Day of Caring

- Discussed other organizations who can assist on the weekends with touching up different projects around the school

- Mr. Dugan leading this project
- New freezer will be delivered soon

- Takes a lot of prep-work but positive feedback from teachers who have used it so far

Review of minutes from September 29, 2025
Facilities Improvement:
- Roof Improvements- almost completed
- Wall corrections: initial improvements complete – now looking at change order for additional concerns
- Playground: Getting new equipment in November
- Resolved Foyer slip, trip and fall/cleanliness issue
- Asphalt: Front parking lot
Day of Caring Project
- 17 out of the 30 requested volunteer slots filled
- Mural Project is the main focus
- Discussion for other projects
Curriculum/Instruction Improvements: MTSS Task Force
Kindergarten class size now has a 22 to 2 ratio. Our new teacher in KD is Mrs. Johnson
STEAM Lab:
- Signage-ordered
- Logistics need to be worked out
- Mr. Schildmeier from RK&K Engineering was our principal for the day. They sponsored the grant that funded the WHAIES STEAM Lab
Fine Arts Performances: What could we do differently? Any new ideas to make the performances unique or different?
- Two SIC Student Members are invited to attend the ABC Steering Committee Meeting. See Mrs. Crawford for future meeting dates.
Could the SIC meetings and PTA meetings be hosted virtually so that parents that work and are just getting home can join virtually? (Zoom?)
- Student Representative Please talk with Mr. Will Smith from Technology (in the Media Center) about students running this for SIC.
Ants and issues on the playground/fields
- Mr. Neuner spoke with maintenance worker Don Gutterman about checking the playground weekly.
